Offroad racing results 2007 Results
The GU made its debut at the Harvey Short Course. The boys were happy to put the foot flat and see how the GU went. And it went!! With a few tweaks to be made, the power of the V8 and the short wheel base make for an exciting ride and an even more exciting viewing experience.
2006 Results
Take off! The tacho is steady at 5500 rpm, 4WD engaged. With both driver and navigator primed they are off to a flying start! As this was the first race Matt and the GQ have had together, the day had a few interesting moments. With a 13th place overall, a 4th place in class and a few tweaks planned, the Boys are certain to pick up the pace next round. Mixed emotions were felt after the weekends action at Mogumber. With a 3rd place in class, the tweaks the boys hade made before the weekend dramatically improved the handling of the GQ. With improved handling, takeoff and braking, the GQ was a different car to drive from the last race. Matt is now focusing on his flying skills after tickling a tree whilst airborne! It's now back to the shop for a bit of panel beating and to ready the GQ for the next round.
With a few races under their belt, the boys now have a grip on things. Hyden gave the boys the opportunity to test a new setup and boy, did it work.
